Wogul Companion for Chrome
Live copy-group status, P&L, and positions in a side panel beside your trading platform, with hold-to-flatten, pause, and stop controls.
What It Is
Wogul Companion is a Chrome extension that opens a side panel next to whatever trading site you have open, so Wogul never has to take space away from your charts. It mirrors the desktop app live: whether the copy engine is running, how many groups are active and how many copies went out today, each copy group's status (Active, Paused, or Halted with the reason), every account's total, realized, and open P&L with its connection state, and all open positions with entry, last price, and P&L.
The panel is a window into the desktop app, not a replacement for it. Wogul has to be running on the same computer.
Install
- Install Wogul Companion from the Chrome Web Store. Edge and other Chromium browsers work the same way.
- Pin the Wogul icon in the toolbar. Clicking it opens the side panel; it is also listed in Chrome's side panel menu.
Pair With Wogul
- In Wogul, open Settings → General → Browser extension and turn it on.
- Click Pair a browser. A 6-digit code appears and stays valid for two minutes.
- In the side panel, enter the code and click Pair.
Each browser you pair shows up in the settings card, up to five at a time. To disconnect one, click Unpair in Wogul or Unpair this browser at the bottom of the panel.
Controls
Every control is press-and-hold, so nothing fires from a stray click. Hold to flatten closes every position and cancels every working order on that account, through the same path as the desktop Flatten button. Hold to pause pauses a copy group. Hold to stop stops the copy engine.
The panel is deliberately limited to actions that reduce risk. It cannot start the engine, activate or resume a group, place orders, or change multipliers. Those stay in the desktop app. Flatten needs an active subscription.
Every command from the panel is written to Wogul's activity terminal and shown as a desktop toast, so the app always tells you what the browser asked for.
Security & Privacy
The extension talks to Wogul over a local connection on your own computer. Nothing leaves the machine, only browsers you pair from inside Wogul can connect, and ordinary web pages cannot open the connection at all. Wogul stores only a hash of the pairing token.
If the Panel Won't Connect
- Wogul isn't running: open the desktop app. The panel reconnects on its own.
- Not connected: make sure Browser extension is turned on in Settings → General.
- Pairing failed: the code expires after two minutes and five wrong attempts. Click Pair a browser again for a fresh code.
- Subscription inactive: live data and controls resume as soon as your subscription is active again.
- Version mismatch: update Wogul or the extension so both speak the same version.
